CEO & Founder

Hank’s career spans more than twenty-five years in the pest management industry. He has worked in both operations and a technical capacity and has been working exclusively with the food industry for the past seventeen years.

As a Board Certified Entomologist, Hank has worked with several major food processors in providing technical support, developing new technologies and designing pest prevention and food safety programs. He regularly lectures at continuing education programs offered by Rutgers University, National Pest Management Association, New Jersey Pest Management Association, University of Kentucky, Pennsylvania Pest Management Association and New York Pest Management Association, as well as in-house training programs.

Talath Witharane

Over the past 20 years, Talath worked on consistent and predictable business modeling within the Food Safety and Integrated Pest Management arena. Specifically, a focus on Strategy, Talent, and Process that centers around the Client Experience. His experience spans from client centric operations (quality as the driver of growth) to Sales leadership of a billion dollar business.

Talath is a graduate of Christopher Newport University, where he received a BSBA Degree in Business Administration and Management.

Jessica Albrecht

Vice President of Business Development, RK Environmental Services

Jessica has an extensive background in business development; pest management and food safety. Jessica works closely with all clients to ensure service satisfaction with the programs the company implements. Jessica’s career focus has always been to surround herself with the best professionals in the industry.

Jessica has a B.S. in Finance and Marketing from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT. She has participated in several industry specific programs and is currently working towards her SQF practitioner certification. Jessica has attended and studied quality, relationships and management seminars and served as immediate past 1st Vice President of the Metropolitan Food Protection Association.

Rich Gibson

Rich Gibson

Director of Food Safety & Quality Assurance, RK Environmental Services

Rich has two decades of food safety and quality assurance experience. He has held various senior level production, quality, and food safety positions and has consulted with some of the biggest names in the food industry. Rich is well versed in food safety, food defense, and pest management.

Rich is a registered SQF consultant, SQF Trainer, a certificated BRC Auditor, an ASQ-Certified HACCP Auditor, a certified Food Defense Coordinator, and is an Associate Certified Entomologist.  Known for his pragmatic implementation and roll-up-your-sleeves approach, Rich has extensive experience in HACCP, allergen management, sanitation, continuous improvement, food defense and auditing.  Rich is a highly sought after speaker, and has spoken at the Metropolitan Association for Food protection (MAFP), and the Food Protection Alliance (FPA) on GFSI, food defense and related topics.

Vice President of Operations

Jon’s career in the pest management industry spans 15 years. His career has been focused on operations and sales excellence in the commercial sector of the pest industry. Jon understands the unique needs of commercial clients and how to provide them with the highest level of customer experience. Through building client relationships and delivery of quality service by well-trained professionals he has successfully grown many multi-million dollar business portfolios.

Jon is a graduate of Wittenberg University, Springfield, Ohio with a Bachelor of Science degree.

Chris Sweezy

Chris Sweezy

Region Director

Chris has over 30 years of pest management experience and has been working at RK Environmental for over 14 years.  He is an Associate Certified Entomologist (A.C.E) with licensing in several states and with 6 subcategories in the State of New York.  He is a former business owner that has spent a majority of his career working on the operations side of the pest management business.  Chris has a strong understanding of both integrated pest management and food safety and is responsible for leading our technical and new hire training initiatives.
